Over 1,300 students and teachers of Marketing and Advertising from various universities attended the recently concluded 4th EdukCircle International Convention on Marketing and Advertsing with this year's theme, "Marketing and Advertising Strategies in a Digital Marketing Environment." It was held at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on September 07, 2014.
Three experts on digital marketing graced the event as speakers: Dr. Ralf van der Lans, professor of marketing at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; Ms. Fay Lugue, chief operations officer of In2Nite Southeast Asia; and Mr. Jomer Gregorio, chief executive officer of Digital Marketing Philippines. Dr. van der Lans shared his expertise on managing new media advertising campaigns: a case of viral marketing while Ms. Lugue focused on digital marketing on mobile application and Mr. Gregorio discussed about the 4 pillars of a successful digital marketing campaig,
